Under what circumstances does the chain sling need to be deactivated?

Chain slings should be scrapped if any of the following conditions occur, and cannot be re-welded and reused.
 
1. When cracks appear on the surface of any component of the chain sling;
 
2. When the dangerous section is worn to 10% of the original size.
 
3. When the torsional deformation exceeds 10 degrees.
 
4. When the dangerous section of the chain and the neck of the hook produce plastic deformation.
 
5. When the bushing of the plate hook is worn to 50% of the original size, the bushing should be scrapped, and the pin should be replaced when the wear exceeds 3%~5% of the nominal diameter.
 
6. For plate hooks, when the mandrel is worn to 5% of the original size, the mandrel should be scrapped and replaced.
 
7. When the opening increases by 15% compared to the original size.
