Common sling accessories include hooks, rings, shackles, collars, lifting suction cups, turnbuckles, wedge joints, etc. The following is an introduction to these products:
Shackle Overview: A type of rigging. Commonly used shackles in the domestic market are generally divided into three categories according to production standards: national standard, American standard, and Japanese standard; according to the type, they can be divided into bow-shaped (omega-shaped) bow-shaped female shackles and D-shaped (U-shaped or straight) D-shaped female shackles; according to the place of use, they can be divided into marine and land use. The safety factor is 4 times, 5 times, 6 times, or even 8 times. Its materials are commonly carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, high-strength steel, etc. Surface treatment is generally divided into galvanizing (hot-dip and electroplating), painting, and Dacormet plating.
Lifting hook: The most common type of sling in lifting machinery. The hook is often suspended on the
Wire Rope of the lifting mechanism with the help of pulleys and other components. Hooks are divided into single hooks and double hooks according to their shapes; they are divided into forged hooks and laminated hooks according to their manufacturing methods.
Ring: A heart-shaped metal ring with a rope groove for the end of the rope to be tied around to prevent excessive bending and wear of the rope, and can be connected to other components.
Turnbuckle: It is a rigging accessory with a load-bearing function. It is mainly used in assembly lines, large construction sites, large factories, lifting factories, ship transportation, bridge construction, high-rise buildings, etc.
Lifting ring: The point where the sling and the object being hoisted are connected during lifting and hoisting operations is called a lifting ring. It is also divided into: bolt-type lifting ring, welding lifting ring, universal rotating lifting ring, side-pull lifting ring, etc.
Lifting suction cup: A lifting device that uses magnetic force or air pressure difference to absorb heavy objects. DC excitation sucks the material, and the power is cut off to demagnetize and unload. To prevent the material from falling during a power outage, a crane with this suction cup generally needs a backup power supply.
Wedge joint: It is a component suitable for various types of cranes, used for fixing, tightening or connecting the ends of wire ropes, with the characteristics of simple structure, easy use, safety and reliability. Wedge joints are generally made of carbon cast steel not lower than ZG 35Ⅱ specified in GB979-67 (Classification and Technical Conditions of Carbon Steel Castings), and are scientifically heat treated to obtain higher comprehensive strength and durability.
