Therefore, it should be lubricated regularly during production and use, which can effectively extend the service life. First of all, we need to oil all aspects of the wire rope during the production process. One is the rope core oiling, which is a very important task in the production of wire ropes. Before oiling, the wire rope core should be carefully wiped dry and the oil content of the rope core should be increased as much as possible.

We usually know that the higher the oil content of the wire rope core, the better. Such a rope core can improve the lubrication conditions of the wire rope. There are generally two ways to oil the wire rope. One is to immerse the wire rope directly in the oil, and the other method is to use the vacuum oil immersion method. The former is relatively simple, but the inside of its coil is not easy to absorb oil, and the oil absorption is uneven. The vacuum oil immersion method is complicated, but the rope core coil can be immersed in oil, and its oil content is also very high.

If we want to oil it later, we can only spray it on the surface or immerse it in the connection between the wire ropes. The surface of the wire rope is oiled by spraying or brushing. The method is to press the wound wire rope into the molten grease for oiling, but this oiling method is easy to cause oil leakage on the surface of the wire rope, and the internal wire rope is not well coated, which will affect the service life of the wire rope.
