304Stainless Wire Rope has excellent corrosion resistance and good resistance to intergranular corrosion. Tests have found that 304 stainless steel has strong corrosion resistance in nitric acid with a concentration of ≤65% and below the boiling point. Steel Rope also has good corrosion resistance to alkaline solutions and most organic and inorganic acids.
In some usage scenarios, fatigue is the main cause of Stainless Steel Wire Rope damage. Stainless Steel Rope begins to break wires after a period of use, but the number of broken wires will gradually increase and the time interval will also shorten. In this case, in order to determine the speed of the increase in broken wires, the increase in broken wires should be carefully checked and recorded. Identifying this "pattern" can be used to determine the future scrap date of Stainless Steel Cable.
