1 Performance characteristics of shackles

1.1 The shackle body is made of high-quality carbon structure or alloy structure forged and heat-treated, with small size and high strength.

1.2 The test load of the shackle is 2 times the limit working load, and the breaking load is 4 times the limit working load.

2 Main uses and scope of application of shackles

2.1 Shackles can be used as end accessories of rigging and directly connected to the hoisted objects during lifting operations.

2.2 Shackles can be used between rigging and end accessories, and only serve as a connection.

2.3 When rigging is used with a beam, the shackle can be used to replace the lifting ring at the top of the rigging and connect with the ear plate under the beam, which is convenient for installation and removal.

2.4 Shackles are the most widely used connection tools in lifting operations, and are mainly used for connection parts that are frequently installed and removed during lifting.

2.5 Type D shackles are mainly used for single-leg rigging; Type B shackles are mainly used for multi-leg rigging.

2.6 BW and DW shackles are mainly used in situations where the rigging will not cause the pin to rotate; BX and DX shackles are mainly used in situations where the pin may rotate and in situations where they are installed for a long time.
